The Port of Yokohama and the Port of Oakland Signed a MOU for Green Shipping Corridor

On October 19, 2023, the Port of Yokohama and the Port of Oakland signed the sister port agreement on May 2, 1980 and have built a strong, productive friendship and collaborative relationship to promote the development of trade and for the last 43 years. Both ports concluded a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the "Green Shipping Corridor" to further strengthen and enhance their relationship toward the realization of a decarbonized society.
