Type/eligibility

The recommended vaccination period and the period in which vaccinations are administered at no charge are different. Vaccinations are free of charge for a certain period.
If you miss the designated period for free vaccinations or you wish for your child to receive a vaccination for an illness not covered by this scheme, you will need to cover the full cost of these vaccinations by yourself. These are known as "voluntary vaccinations."

Type B型肝炎(乙疫苗)[1st and第二种疫苗]Twice at an interval of at least 27 days between 2 and 3 months of ageLess than 1 year of age

Type B型肝炎(乙疫苗)[第3次接种]

Once at an interval of at least 139 days after the 1st vaccination (7 months to 8 months of age)Less than 1 year of age
Rotavirus(病毒疫苗)[Initial传染病]Once from the age of 2 months up until 14 weeks 6 days
You can choose from two kinds of rotavirus vaccination: Rotarix (RV1) and RotaTeq (RV5).
- Rotarix (RV1)
From the age of 6 weeks 0 days up until 24 weeks 0 days
- RotaTeq (RV5)
From the age of 6 weeks 0 days up until 32 weeks 0 days
Rotavirus(罗塔病毒疫苗)[第二and第三次预防接种]
- Rotarix (RV1) only requires a 2nd vaccination.
- RotaTeq (RV5) requires both a 2nd and 3rd vaccination.
- If receiving Rotarix (RV1) for the initial vaccination
After completing the initial vaccination, once at an interval of at least 27 days up until the age of 24 weeks 0 days
- If receiving RotaTeq (RV5) for the initial vaccination
After completing the initial vaccination, twice at intervals of at least 27 days each up until the age of 32 weeks 0 days
- Rotarix (RV1)
From the age of 6 weeks 0 days up until 24 weeks 0 days
- RotaTeq (RV5)
From the age of 6 weeks 0 days up until 32 weeks 0 days

2-valent: Additional vaccination 1 month and 6 months after the initial vaccination (total of 3 times)
4-valent: Additional vaccination 2 months and 6 months after the first vaccination (total of 3 times)
9-valent:
Age at the time of initial vaccination is less than 15 years old: Additional vaccination 6 months after the initial vaccination (total of 2 times)
Age at the time of the first vaccination is 15 years or older: Additional vaccinations 2 months and 6 months after the first vaccination (total of 3 times)
Girls aged from elementary school 6th grade to high school 1st grade

Information/screening questionnaire

We send out documents containing information on vaccinations and preliminary checkup sheets when children are 2 months old, 1 year old, 3 years old, 1 year before entering elementary school, 9 years old, 11 years old, and when children enter junior high school (for girls only).
Please contact the Vaccination Call Center in the event that your child is eligible for a vaccination but you have yet to receive these documents.
