Participation in the Hamburg Sustainability Conference and signing of the“Hamburg Declaration”on the decarbonization of global shipping

On October 7, 2024 (local time), the City of Yokohama participated in the Hamburg Sustainability Conference held in Hamburg, Germany, by invitation of our sister port, the Port of Hamburg. We signed the“Hamburg Declaration,”a declaration on the decarbonization of global shipping, thus becoming the only signatory from Asia. (Press release on October 8th, 2024（PDF：466KB）)
