Mayoral delegation from Los Angeles visits the Port of Yokohama

On the afternoon of September 1, 2022, a delegation led by Mayor of Los Angeles Eric Garcetti visited Yokohama City Hall and met with Mayor Yamanaka Takeharu.
The Port of LA is a department of the City of Los Angeles (also known as the Los Angeles Harbor Department), and the City of Yokohama is also a port management body of the Port of Yokohama. Members of both port departments, including Jaime Lee, President of the Los Angeles Board of Harbor Commissioners, Gene Seroka, Executive Director of the Port of LA, and Hiroya Nakano, Director General of Port and Harbor Bureau also attended the meeting.
The two mayors exchanged their views on cooperation toward developing carbon neutral ports and port digitalization.
